  1. Amazing and ty for sharing this. I am making a very small batch but didn't do this prior. I put some coconut oil in a mason jar which was then put into a steamer pot filled with water. Cooking it on the lowest heat possible. The guy told me to do this for about 1-2hrs etc. Next batch I will be doing it this way. How much Coconut oil did you use again? Also are you going to use this for rub on applications or to eat etc? We are making it for medicinal purposes.

  2. I was also wondering about the water b coz I made mine yesterday and during the crockpot phase u didn't mention adding water so this morning I have no separating phase so im in the double boiler now melting so I can put in my masin jars?? will it still be ok?? I used 14 grams of indica,

    If you are going to cook it in the slow cooker for 6 hours, why do you need to bake it first? Doesn't the slow cooker extract the THC?
    I've only made butter in a slow cooker. I just put butter/cannibis in the cooker and let it cook overnight (about 8 hours). I strain it in the morning and it's ready to go. Is oil different?

  4. I made canna coconut oil last night using this video as a guide sorta, plus some other vids and information gathered from youtubers and Google. What I did:

    I had around 3/4 an oz of some bud I got for around 150 a zip so it wasn't anything special taste wise but green and potent. I cut it up and decarbed just as this guy did in his vid, mason jar and all, let cool and popped in freezer for 30 min. I listened to a few others in the comments and heated my coconut oil (1.5 cups, yes with 3/4 oz ok bud). I added 1/2 c water right away and heated it up in my crockpot on low. Tossed in the bud and covered. It will get to around 180-200 on low with the basic crockpot. Every 45 I gave it a stir. I set it to warm after 2 hrs, then after an hour set it to low for 2 and just kept doing this as a means to extract. I left the lid off the last couple of hours to let some water cook off. Finished on low and turned off after EIGHT hours. I strained using a french press, reserving the soaked bud for canna green tea. Fridge overnight, had about an 1/8 of water and impurities the next am (today). Poured that off, reheated to melt coconut oil in a warm water bath in a glass bowl, sampled 1 tbs and placed back into the fridge to seperate any little bits of water to improve shelf life and impurities. 2 hrs since dose of 1tbs canna coconut oil and the effects are GREAT!

  5. So the part where you say to add keef. Once I add the keef do I just let it chill in there or do I restrain it? Also if I do add the keef would it make it anymore potent even tho the keef wasn’t cooked to there the thc would separate and stick to the oil?

  6. Why not 220 in the oven for a little longer to fully decarb? Try a one gallon paint straining bag vs. cheesecloth, it won't absorb all the good stuff, I use them for dmt extraction. How was there that much water afterwards?

  7. HI PAUL I JUST WATCHED YOUR COCONUT OIL VIDEO, I LIKE YOUR PROCESS, I WOULD TRY SAVING THE USED BUD AND RUNING IN THE CROCK POT AGAIN ON LOW SETING FOR A CUPLE HOURS ,I THINK THERES MORE MEDS IN THERE.

  8. Love your video. I recently made the most potent butter ever. I made it in my crock pot for the first time and let it cook on low for 14 hours. I am going to do some coconut oil the same way and length of time.
